2016 Deep Woods Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

MR Cabernet does it again!

Deep Woods have, once again, turned out an absolute stunner with their latest Reserve Cabernet. While the expectation of quality is not surprising, following a Jimmy Watson trophy for the 2014 and a subsequent 2015 vintage that was just luscious, the sheer weight of that expectation can sometimes turn out just too much...

Not here though. This wine 'is just as good as the 2014'...that quote came directly from the winemakers lips. It is bold and elegant, sublime fruit flavours on show and the oak, while there, is a simple afterthought. So well has the team constructed this beauty that is almost defies belief. The balance is simply amazing!

A winner for sure and we've no doubt that you'll be hearing a lot more about this wine.
